For more than a decade, Andrea Hyatt has been Hillside’s most consistent and trusted public servant. As Ward 1 Councilwoman, she has always served the entire community, leading efforts to lower taxes, strengthen financial transparency, repair infrastructure, and deliver vital services during times of crisis. From Hurricane Ida to the COVID-19 pandemic, Andrea has been a steady presence who shows up when residents need her most. With over thirty years of accounting and business expertise, a New Jersey Civil Service certification in governmental management, and her Executive Global MBA studies, she is uniquely equipped to improve Hillside’s governmental operations, create efficiency, and deliver results that residents can depend on.
